Machetes are weapons in Let it Die. Machetes are basically the all rounder of the game; they have good reach for a melee weapon and while they attack a bit slower than Knives or Claws, they're still decently fast. Their combo can be executed back-to-back almost seamlessly, making it easy to stunlock an enemy once you've landed the first hit.

The Beam Katana is another Machete-type weapon that uses the same mastery. Variants include the very rare Fenrir.

Notes

  • Much like Meijin says, the Machete's R2/L2 attacks are easy to use, good range, speed and hard to avoid.
  • The Jungle Machete is good weapon to help you get through floors 11 - 20
  • The Cross Buster, unlocked at mastery rank 10, is a jumping slice that is a little hard to aim and is slow for this weapon, but does great damage and causes a lot of hitstun.
  • The Rage move, Final Stroke, is a short range stab that does a good amount of damage.
