Heartshrooms are one of the first types of mushrooms players will encounter within the Tower of Barbs. As the name implies, they are Heart-shaped mushrooms that restore a small amount of Health upon consumption. They are found as early as Floor 1 of the Tower, growing on the ground or from the corpses of dead Screamers. Eventually, they become replaced by the stronger Ricebowl Shrooms.

Restore HP

Heartshrooms are an early healing source, and will restore a small amount of HP upon consumption.

It may be a good idea for new players to keep a few of these stocked in their Storage Chest, and you can cook them in the Waiting Room over the brazier next to the Mushroom Club. Be mindful of when you eat one, as getting hit by enemies while you're in the eating animation will cancel it, as well as damage you more. Try to avoid eating these while you're under attack.

As you unlock higher Grade Fighters with more HP, Heartshrooms become less useful overall due to them not healing as much. However, they can be invaluable to a new player with limited healing options. Be sure to cook them for maximum effect.
