Punchshrooms are fist-shaped shrooms which belong to the "3 Exploshrooms" family. Of the 3 Exploshrooms, the Punchshroom has the second highest damage. Unlike the other two in its family, Punchshrooms are thrown in a straight line resembling a punch. These shrooms later get replaced by Lavashrooms.

Explosion

The explosions from Punchshrooms cause 3500 damage at its highest. The damage taken from Exploshrooms can be mitigated by Defense, leaving it up to limited uses against well-equipped enemies, especially in the area they can be found in. An attribute to explosions, however, is that they can knock down enemies or players which causes them to be unable to move or attack for quite a while. Utilizing knock downs for combos or for falling could make a use for these shrooms

Although explosions can cause enemies to be knocked down, enemies are still able to quick recover from the knockback and get back to combat quickly.

The explosion can be used to cook raw beasts, except Pillbugs and Turtles which need to be stunned first.

Punchshrooms are thrown in a straight line, moving with rocket-like thrusters. Players will need to aim these differently than other throwing shrooms.

Eating Punchshrooms or getting harmed by one will cause your armor durability to decrease by 10 and knock you down.
